Here at NFP Connect we offer support, connection and education through various events, for those working for and with local charities and not-for-profits.
Our NFP Connect Breakfast is predominantly for not-for-profit employees, owners, leaders and anyone related to the field or interested in the monthly topic.
We also run peer to peer mentoring, coffee catch up and planning workshops throughout the year.
Social Enterprise seems like a fad word, but with more and more popping up around the country it certainly is changing the way the community is doing business with a conscious effort. What is Social Enterprise, how can our charities / not for profit benefit from setting one up within our organisation.
Our September Breakfast, with Beyond Bank Australia’s – Shane Farley will answer our ‘How, What, Why on Social Enterprise.
Shane Farley has had a diverse career, working specifically in the areas of community development, corporate social responsibility and sponsorship. He joined the team at Beyond Bank Australia in September 2013 and through his role is working closely with many community organisations to further develop the Beyond Bank Community Development Program.
Shane’s current role allows him to interact on a daily basis with a large number of community organisations right across Australia, and has provided him with a deep understanding of the partnership model many community organisations are seeking with the corporate sector.
Shane is also a member of two not-for-profit Boards which includes his roles as Vice President of Recreation South Australia and as a member of the UniSA Sport Advisory Board. He is also an active volunteer with several community organisations.
We invite you to join us for a relaxed, interactive and informative discussion and hot breakfast.
