Here at NFP Connect we offer support, connection and education through various events, for those working for and with local charities and not-for-profits.
Our NFP Connect Breakfast is predominantly for not-for-profit employees, owners, leaders and anyone related to the field or interested in the monthly topic.
We also run peer to peer mentoring, coffee catch up and planning workshops throughout the year.
For our March breakfast, we knew we HAD to bring back Charlotte Thaarup from the Mindfulness Clinic to help us understand and work through what we’ve just experienced over the last summer with the fires.
Charlotte will show us how to move through the anxiety triggered by disasters and climate challenges, so that we can keep fighting the good fight in our workplaces and for our community.
This session is our second of three, focused on bringing clarity and hope around the pain, overwhelm and frustration we feel in relation to the state of the world.
About the speaker: Charlotte Thaarup is the owner of The Mindfulness Clinic that has provided Mindfulness locally, nationally and internationally for the past 10 years as retreats, workplace training, workshops, mediation and coaching.
The company is dedicated to making people better – much better through the ancient practice of mindfulness and the latest in neuroscience, sprinkled with her own life long experience.
Her programs Mindfulness@Work and Mindful Leadership have been researched and currently she is offering Mindful Leadership as the foundation module within the Newcastle University Executive MBA.
